Recording audio for video
Opera recording
While recording audio of an opera, there are a series of characteristics that differentiate it from other musical recordings. On the one hand, we are faced with the requirement that the microphones should not be visible either in the making of the video or from the audience, which does not allow us to place the microphones in their ideal positions, but forces us instead to hide them on stage and use wireless ones for soloists. Theirfore, mixing and sound treatment will require a special technique. On the other hand, especially in live opera broadcasts such as those recorded at the Teatro Real in Madrid and at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, previous performances to the one to be broadcasted are recorded as a rehearsal in order to be able to carry out all the changes in the mix according to the stage movements in real time.

Presenting
Concert videos
When recording audio for a video we have the same requirements (sound, spatiality, location, technical quality, etc.) as in audio recordings alone. It is important when placing microphones to try to reduce the visual impact of the equipment. We eather use wireless microphones for this purpose, or hang microphones are from above. The audio and video recording of concerts is done in cooperation with video production companies who have experience in the field of music video production.
